Hex screwdriver
Newspaper or other paper
Replacement Message
“Replacement Required:Intermed. Trans. Belt Cleaning Unit”
Print the counter list.
Print out the counter list.
Turn the machine off.

Replacing the Cleaning Unit for Intermediate Transfer Belt
Pull out the drawer until it stops.

Remove the screw, and then remove the cover of the cleaning unit for intermediate transfer belt.

Be careful not to touch the fusing unit because it may be extremely hot.

Pull up the lever.

Remove the screw.

Pull out the cleaning unit for intermediate transfer belt.

Push the new cleaning unit for intermediate transfer belt back into the machine.

Secure the cleaning unit for intermediate transfer belt with the screw.

Remove the two screws, and then remove the guide board.

Release the two catches

Remove the paper transfer unit.

Turn the machine on.
Before turning the machine on, make sure the lever is pulled up, the cover of the cleaning unit for intermediate transfer belt is removed, and the drawer is pulled out.
Access the Adjustment Settings for Skilled Operators menu.
Displaying the [Adjustment Settings for Skilled Operators] Button
Press [Machine: Maintenance].

Press [ITB Manual Lubrication].

Press [Execute ITB Manual Lubrication].
Press [OK].
Push the drawer back into the machine.

Lubrication starts.
Once lubrication is complete (after about three minutes), turn the machine off.
Pull out the drawer until it stops.

Pull down the lever.

Reattach the cover of the cleaning unit for intermediate transfer belt, and then secure it with the screw.

Attach the paper transfer unit.

Secure the paper transfer unit with the two catches.

Attach the guide board, and then secure them with the two screws.

Push the drawer back into the machine.

Reset the counter for replaceable parts.
Do not turn the machine on until you have read how to do so.
