Introduction of Two Types of Setting Screens (Standard/Classic)

Print Jobs

Description

Delete Tmp. Job

You can delete all Sample Print, Locked Print, and Hold Print files temporarily stored in this machine.

Delete Str. Job

You can delete Stored Print files stored in this machine.

Auto Delete Temporary Print Jobs

You can specify whether to automatically delete all Sample Print, Locked Print, and Hold Print files temporarily stored in this machine. Hold Print files that have a valid print time cannot be deleted automatically.

If you select [On], you can specify up to 200 hours for auto file deleting.

  • Default: [Off]

Auto Delete Stored Print Jobs

You can specify whether to automatically delete Stored Print files stored in this machine.

If you select [On], you can specify up to 180 days for auto file deleting.

  • Default: [On] (3 days)

Print Job Function

When [Document Server Function] of [System Settings][Settings for Administrator][File Management] is set to Inactive, you can specify whether to disable printing Stored Print files or files temporarily stored in the machine on the printer driver.

  • Default: [Same as System Settings]

Jobs Not Printed as Machine Was Off

You can specify whether to print Hold Print files whose specified print time has already passed when the machine's main power switch is turned on.

When you select to not print, Hold Print files whose specified print time has already passed are invalid and will become [Auto Delete Temporary Print Jobs].

Data Management/Maintenance

  • Default: [Do not Print]

Restrict Direct Print Jobs

This restricts print files specified for [Normal Print], [Sample Print], or [Store and Print] under "Print Mode" on the printer driver. You can specify whether to store these files in the machine without printing or to cancel printing. This can help prevent leaving the output paper on the tray, creating confusion.

  • Default: [Off]

Auto Store Jobs Without User Authentication Information

When [Automatically Store Jobs] is selected on [Restrict Direct Print Jobs] and the machine is specified to authenticate users, specify to automatically store jobs without user authentication information.

  • Default: [Off]

Switch Initial Screen

You can specify which screen to display, Job List or Print Jobs, when you press [Printer (Classic)]

  • Default: [Job List]

Image Adjustment

4 Color Graphic Mode

You can switch the optimum CMYK toner combination. To avoid the blurring of text or lines, change the setting to [Text Priority]

  • Default: [Photo Priority]

Administrator Tools

Description

Prohibit List/Test Print

You can specify whether to prohibit test printing by unauthorized users when Administrator Authentication is specified.

  • Default: [Off]

Stapleless Stapler and Staple Display Setting

This is the user tool when a finisher supporting the Stapleless Stapler is used. You can specify whether to use a stapleless stapler or staple regardless of the settings on the printer driver.

  • Default: [Stapleless & Staple Available]

You can specify this function only when Administrator Authentication is specified.

Auto Cancel Print if Card Removed/No Units

Specify whether or not to display the confirmation screen before printing starts when the key card is inserted. On the confirmation screen, the message to confirm whether to use the remaining point of the keycard is displayed.
