This section describes the settings in [Display/Input] under [System Settings].
How to Use the Settings Screen
Display
Setting Items | Description |

Brightness |

Screen Color Setting | Select the screen color of the classic application or Document Server.
|
Display IP Address | Specify whether to display the IPv4 Address and Host Name of the machine on the system bar.

Function Priority | Specify the mode to be displayed automatically when the power is turned on or when the machine is not used for a while.
|
Select Switchable Languages | Specify the languages registered to [Settings][Change Language] and Change Languages widget. |
Measurement Unit | Specify the unit of the paper size displayed on the control panel. (mainly Europe and Asia)

Application Display Settings by Function | Specify whether to hide all applications related to a specific function. In the default setting, all functions are displayed. |
System Bar Settings |

Home Screen Blank Pages | Specify whether to allow a blank page with no icons to be displayed as the Home screen. You can use this function in the machines installed with RICOH Always Current Technology v1.2 or later.

Automatic Information Dialog Display | Specify whether to display notifications automatically.

Key/Keyboard/Input Assistance
Setting Items | Description | |

Function Key Settings | Specify the function to assign the function key. The function key is specified inactive. If setting this to [On], specify the functions to assign to the function keys.
You can change the displayed name by setting [Change Display Name] to [Change] for each function key. If you do this, the displayed name stays the same even if you change the display language. In contrast, if you set [Change Display Name] to [Do not Change], the displayed name changes to the name in the selected language if you change the display language. You can use this function in the machines installed with RICOH Always Current Technology v1.2 or later.

[Back] Key | Specify whether to enable the [Back] button to return to the previous screen. The [Back] button may not function regardless of this setting depending on the type of application or displayed content.

Word List | You can register words in the user dictionary. The registered words are displayed as input candidates for entering text on the keyboard of the control panel. Press [Register/Change] on the top right of the screen and register words. This function is available when [Show correction suggestions] is set to [ON] in [Keyboard & Input Methods][Switchable Keyboard Settings][Control Panel Keyboard][Text Correction]. | |

Register/Change/Delete User Text | Specify text phrases to insert when entering text. You can use these text phrases when operating classic mode applications. When you register domain, such as "co.jp" and ".com", or preface text, you can use it to send the scanned original by e-mail. You can register up to 40 entries. | |
Key Repeat | Specify the period to identify that a key is pressed repeatedly when you keep pressing the screen. The key repeat function is available only when using the classic application or Document Server.
