Add Extra Toner

If print density decreases or printed characters are blurred after a large number of documents are printed at one time, toner can be refilled forcibly. To start a toner refill, it is needed to open and close the cover or turn the machine off then on.

If toner spreads under the horizontal lines on printed images, specify a prevention mode for each tray to improve print quality.

Specify whether to display the amount of toner on the top Menu screen.

Specify whether to protect the menu settings. To enable [Menu Protect], specify a protection level.

List/Test Print Lock

Specify whether to prohibit List/Test printing.

  • Default: [Off]

Unit of Measure

Specify the unit of the paper size displayed on the control panel.

Panel Key Sound

Specify the volume of the panel key sound or turn off the key sound.

Display Contrast

Key Repeat

Specify whether to scroll the display panel when the [Up arrow key] or [Down arrow key] key is held down.

To enable [Key Repeat], specify the scroll speed.

Rear-Exhaust Fan

Specify whether to turn the rear exhaust fan to reduce unpleasant odor.

Compatible ID

Specify whether to enable or disable the compatible ID. When this machine is connected to the computer via USB or network, specify [Inactive] to avoid a printer driver is automatically installed by plug and play.

Tray Parameters (PCL)

Tray Parameters (PS)

You can configure the settings to change the paper tray parameters used for PCL or PostScript printing. Change the parameters when the machine is replaced with another manufacturer's machine for output without a printer driver in the basic system.

Auto Reset Timer

Specify how long the machine waits before it displays the top Menu screen following last usage.

When [On] is selected, specify the number of seconds the machine waits before it auto resets.

Set Time

Set the date and time for the machine's internal clock.

Time Zone

Specify the standard time in the region where the machine is used.

Daylight Saving Time

Specify how long daylight saving time is in effect and how many hours the clock goes forward.

You can delete all temporary documents saved on the hard disk (Sample Print, Locked Print, and Hold Print data) at once.

Delete All Stored Jobs

You can delete all Stored Print data saved on the hard disk at once.

Auto Delete Temporary Jobs

Specify whether to automatically delete temporary documents saved on the hard disk (Sample Print, Locked Print, and Hold Print data). When [On] is selected, specify the number of hours the machine waits before it deletes documents.

  • Default: [Off]: [8 hours]

Auto Delete Stored Jobs

Specify whether to automatically delete Stored Print data saved on the hard disk. When [On] is selected, specify the number of days the machine waits before it deletes documents.
