Introduction of Two Types of Setting Screens (Standard/Classic)

Switch to Batch

You can select to have [Batch] mode or [SADF] mode displayed when you press [Original Settings].

  • Default: [Batch]

Copying a Separately Scanned Original as a Single Document

SADF Auto Reset

In SADF mode, you can specify the time to place an original in the ADF after the previous original has been fed. When the specified time has passed, the original will not be fed automatically.

  • Default: [5 second(s)]

Rotate Sort: Auto Paper Continue

You can specify whether the machine continues copying using the paper set in another paper tray when paper of the required orientation runs out during rotate sort.

  • Default: [Off]

Memory Full Auto Scan Restart

When the memory becomes full while scanning originals, the machine can make copies of scanned originals first, and then automatically proceed scanning remaining originals.

When you specify [On], all pages are copied and separately sorted into two halves according to the output timing of scanning.

When you specify [Off], the machine stops operation. Remove the first copy pages, and you can avoid sorting the first half pages and second half pages separately.

  • Default: [Off]

Letterhead Setting

You can specify whether to use letterhead paper.

When you specify [On], the paper is not rotated to prevent copying onto the letterhead paper in an incorrect orientation.

  • Default: [Off]

Stapleless Position

(This item is enabled only when the [Copier (Classic)] is used.)

You can specify whether to display the Stapleless Stapler key on the initial screen of the Copy function when Finisher SR3260 is installed.

To display the key, select [Stapleless Stapler].

  • Default: [Stapleless Stapler]

Stapling Copied Pages

Staple Position

(This item is enabled only when the [Copier (Classic)] is used.)

You can specify which staple-type key is displayed on the initial screen of the Copy function. You can specify up to four staple types.

The selectable staple type depends on the installed finisher.

Punch Type

(This item is enabled only when the [Copier (Classic)] is used.)

You can specify which punch-type key is displayed on the initial screen of the Copy function.

When 2 & 4 hole punch unit is installed:

  • Default for Punch Type 1: [Punch: 2 Holes Left]

  • Default for Punch Type 2: [Punch: 2 Holes Top]

When 2 & 3 hole punch unit is installed:

  • Default for Punch Type 1: [Punch: 3 Holes Left]

  • Default for Punch Type 2: [Punch: 3 Holes Top]

When 4 hole punch unit is installed:

  • Default for Punch Type 1: [Punch: 4 Holes Left]

  • Default for Punch Type 2: [Punch: 4 Holes Top]

Punching Holes on the Copied Pages

Simplified Screen: Finishing Types

(This item is enabled only when the [Copier (Classic)] is used.)

You can select the finishing function keys displayed on the Copy screen.

  • Default: Finishing Type 1, Finishing Type 2, Finishing Type 3: [Do not Display]

Z-fold Output Tray

You can specify the tray to which Z-fold paper is delivered.

  • Default: [Folding Unit Tray]

Half Fold

Specify the fold orientation and print side for half fold.

  • Default

    • Fold Orientation: [Right - Left]

    • Print Side: [Inside]

Folding Copied Sheets

Letter Fold-out

You can specify the fold and page opening direction for Letter Fold-out.

  • Default

    • Fold Orientation: [Right - Left]

    • Open Orientation: [Open to Right]

Folding Copied Sheets

Letter Fold-in

You can specify the fold and page opening direction and print side for Letter Fold-in.

  • Default

    • Fold Orientation: [Right - Left]

    • Open Orientation: [Open to Right]

    • Print Side: [Outside]
