Registering the User Code in the Address Book
By specifying the user code authentication, you can limit the usage of each function per user or confirm the usage status. When specifying the user code authentication, assign a user code to the user or group in the Address Book to identify the user or group using the function of the machine.
You can register user codes for up to 1,000 entries.
Enable the user code authentication in advance.
Verifying Users to Operate the Machine (User Authentication)
Press [Address Book] on the Home screen.
Select a user or group on the Address Book screen, and then press [Edit].
The items displayed on the screen vary depending on the version of RICOH Always Current Technology that is implemented on the machine.
Press the [User Management / Others] tab 
[User Management].
Specify the user code.
User Code: Enter an 8-digit number. You can specify the same user code to multiple users.
Available Functions / Applications: Select from the following usable functions:
Copy Function
Print Function
Document Server Function
Fax Functions
Scan Function
Browser Function
Press [OK].
After completing the procedure, press [Home] (
).
To change/delete the user code, select the user or group to change/delete on the Address Book screen, and then press [Edit]
the [User Management/Others] tab [User Management].You can specify the user code in the LAN-Fax driver/printer driver.
You can confirm the usage status of each user code on the counter.
