You can register manually entered destinations to the Address Book.
Select [Scan to Email] or [Scan to Folder].
Specify a destination manually.
Press 
(Confirm Destination(s)).
Select a destination to be registered in the Address Book.
Press [Reg. to Add. Book].
When registering an e-mail address
Press [Email Address].
Edit the address as necessary.
Press [OK].
Press [Exit].
When registering a folder path
Make sure that [SMB] is selected, and then press [OK].
Press [Names], and then specify the name and other information to be registered.
For details about specifying the information to be registered, see "E-mail Destination" and "Registering Folders", Connecting the Machine/System Settings.
Press [OK].
Depending on the security setting, [Reg. to Add. Book] may not appear. In such case, you cannot complete the registration.
You can also register a destination selected from the LDAP server. To register in the machine's address book a destination searched for and selected from the LDAP server, display the destination, and then press [Reg. to Add. Book].
