Printing with Color and Grayscale Adjusted

You can adjust the Gray Reproduction and the Image Quality Adjustment settings. Adjust that value to achieve better printing results.

1Press [Home] (Operation panel screen illustration) at the bottom of the screen in the center.

2Flick the screen to the left, and then press the [User Tools] icon (Operation panel screen illustration).

3Press [Machine Features].

4Press [Printer Features].

5Press [Right arrow key].

6Press the [RPGL Menu] tab.

7Press [Down arrow keyNext] until [81. Color Mode] appears.

8Press [81. Color Mode].

9Press [Color], and then press [OK].

10Adjust the colors by modifying the settings such as [83. Gray Reproduction] or [85. Image Quality Adjustment].

Use the same procedure as that of [81. Color Mode] to configure [83. Gray Reproduction].

To adjust the colors using [85. Image Quality Adjustment], press [85-1. Brightness] or [85-2. Color Saturation], and then enter the value using the number keys.

11Press [User Tools] (Operation panel screen illustration) on the top right of the screen.

12Press [Home] (Operation panel screen illustration) at the bottom of the screen in the center.

13When you have finished adjusting the colors, print the color sample to confirm the result.

Check color conditions, and adjust the settings if necessary.

14Print the data from the computer.

Note

  • The Gray Reproduction settings are ineffective for "RP-GL/2 (Type1, Type3)". The Image Quality Adjustment settings ineffective on raster data for "RP-GL/2 (Type1)".
