Overview of the Color Sample

Patches of the colors that can be selected on the control panel are printed in arrays. 256 color patches are available.

Default Pen No.

Indicates the pen number for "9. Pen 1 Settings" - "16.Pen 8 Settings"/"50.Pen 9 Settings" - "57.Pen 0 Settings" on the RPGL Menu. If a number is printed below the center of a color patch, the number indicates the patch represents the factory default color of each pen.

"Default Pen No." is not printed for all patches of colors except the default colors.

Color Number

Indicates the pen number selected in "Pen Color" for "9. Pen 1 Settings" - "16.Pen 8 Settings"/"50.Pen 9 Settings" - "57.Pen 0 Settings" on the RPGL Menu. For details about how to specify the setting, see Printing in Pen Colors Specified on Control Panel.

RGB Combination

Shows the ratio of the three primary colors, R (Red), G (Green) and B (Blue) composing the color in the patch. The value is shown as a number between 0 (black) and 255 (white). The ratios cannot be modified.

Color Patches

Shows the colors you can specify on the control panel.

Current Settings

Shows the color adjustment items and their settings used when the color sample is printed. The following settings are printed:

  • Color Mode

  • Image Quality Adjustment

  • Font

  • Plotter ID
