Output Locations for Originals

Three types of original output locations are available.

Original Top Output

This is the basic original output location. Originals are ejected onto the original stacker.

Original Output to Upper Front Auxiliary Tray

Originals are delivered to the machine's upper front part.

Original Rear Output

Originals are ejected onto the original output guides. When copying thick or hard originals, select this output location.

Make sure no one gets on the machine, sits on it, leans on it, or hangs from it.
When the machine delivers a thick or long original, receive it by hand from the output tray.
When using transparent film, take the delivered sheets one by one instead of stacking them on the stacker.
If you attach the original stacker and deliver an A1 or larger original to it, receive the paper using both hands.
If copies exceeding the supported number of sheets are stacked and the copies block the original stacker port, remove the copies.
Normally, use the stacker with the stop at its end folded. Pull out the stop only when loading an A0 or larger copy or original to place the trailing edge of the sheet. Even in such a case, fold the stop before the copy is delivered.
