Display Settings in Meeting

You can choose whether to display the contact names during a meeting.

If you choose to display the contact names, the names are displayed in the other parties' videos. Your contact name is also displayed in your video.

1In the Features screen, press the [Left arrow key] [Right arrow key] key to select [Video Meeting], and then press the [Enter] key/Icon illustration.

2Press the [Menu] key/Icon illustration.

3Press the [Down arrow key] or [Up arrow key] key to select [Video Meeting Detailed Configuration], and then press the [Enter] key/Icon illustration.

4Press the [Down arrow key] or [Up arrow key] key to select a setting item from "Show Contact Name:", and then press the [Enter] key/Icon illustration.

5Press the [Down arrow key] or [Up arrow key] key to select [Yes] or [No], and then press the [Enter] key.

6Press the [Right arrow key] key to select [OK], and then press the [Enter] key/Icon illustration.

The settings for this mode are saved and loaded the next time you start the machine.

7Start the meeting.

Note

  • If the contact of one of the parties in the meeting is not registered in your Address Book, the Contact ID is displayed in place of the contact name.

  • If you select shared computer screen as the screen layout, the name will not be displayed.

  • The maximum length of names displayed on screen is 30 characters.

  • If the length of the name is more than 30 characters, the name after the 30 characters will not be displayed.

  • There are times the name might not be displayed, depending on the screen layout selected or the number of contacts displayed.
