Copying onto Tab Stock from the Multi Bypass Tray (Tray 6)

When copying onto tab stock, select the type and size of paper.

Important

  • The Duplex function cannot be performed on tab stock. If [1 Sided 2 Sided] is selected, cancel the setting.

Tab stock is fed starting from the top tab.

1Place the tab stock print side up on the multi bypass tray (tray 6).

2While pinching the release lever, adjust the side fences to the size of the paper.

3Attach the tab fence to the end fence.

4Set the end fence.

5Press the elevator switch on the multi bypass tray (tray 6).

6Select the multi bypass tray (tray 6) on the control panel.

7Press the [Sharp] key.

8Press [Tab Stock] under Special Paper.

9Specify the shift value using [] or [] under Tab Position Shift.

10Select the paper weight.

11Select the paper size.

12Press [OK] twice.

13Place originals, and then press the [Start] key.

  • Load tab stock so that it will be fed from the side without the tab first.
