Registering Destinations in the Address Book
This section explains how to register a fax number in the Address Book.
You can register fax numbers, IP-Fax destinations, Internet Fax destinations, e-mail destinations, and folder destinations in the Address Book. For details about how to register IP-Fax destinations, Internet Fax destinations, e-mail destinations, and folder destinations, see “Registering Addresses and Users for Facsimile/Scanner Functions”, Network and System Settings Reference.
You can back up the contents of the Address Book. For details about how to do this, see “Administrator Tools”, Network and System Settings Reference.
You can also register Address Book fax numbers, IP-Fax destinations, Internet Fax destinations, e-mail destinations, and folder destinations to groups.
On the facsimile initial display, press [Prg. Dest.] to display the registration screen of the Address Book. You can register destinations on this screen.
To register destinations, press [Prg. Dest.] after entering Fax destinations, IP-Fax destinations, Internet Fax destinations or e-mail destinations. You cannot register folder destinations using this screen. In the facsimile initial display, if you change the contents of the Address Book, the “Destination list / machine settings are updated.” message appears. Press [Exit] to bring back the facsimile initial display.
