Adjusting the Image Density

You can adjust the image density using the control panel if the image density is not appropriate.

Important

  1. Press the [Menu] key.

  2. Press the [Down arrow key ] or [Up arrow key ] key to select [Maintenance], and then press the [OK] key.

  3. Press the [Down arrow key ] or [Up arrow key ] key to select [Quality Maintenance], and then press the [OK] key.

  4. Press the [Down arrow key ] or [Up arrow key ] key to select [Image Density], and then press the [OK] key.

  5. Press the [Down arrow key ] or [Up arrow key ] key to select [Dens. (Thick Ppr 2)] or [Dens. (Excl. Thick Ppr 2)], and then press the [OK] key.

  6. Press the [Down arrow key ] or [Up arrow key ] key to specify the image density, and then press the [OK] key.

    You can specify the image density in the range of -6 to +3.

  7. Press the [Menu] key.

    The display returns to the initial screen.
