Changing the Default Settings

Use the following procedure to change the User Tools settings.

To perform this procedure, you must enter the password for printer settings.

Press the [User Tools] key.
Press [Printer Features].
Press [Administrator Configuration].
Press [Printer Settings].
If a message prompting you to enter a password appears, enter the password for printer settings.
Select the item whose settings you want to change.
Change the settings by following the instructions on the display, and then press [OK].
Press [Exit] to return to the [Printer Features] screen.
Press the [User Tools] key to return to the normal screen.

Only the administrator can change the settings on the [Printer Settings] menu. The [Printer Management] menu is for use by your service technician. Do not change the settings on this menu.
