What is the firmware download center?

The firmware download center is a service of RICOH Co. LTD. It is a place where you can download firmware RICOH's products. For some products you can also find support documents.

How do I use the firmware download center?

Use a simple process to find the file you want.
Find your brand and click your brand.
Find the category of your brand product and select the machine name. 
After that you can see "Board Name" folder in your browser, and click folder icon.
Then you will find "Sales Area. Language" folder, and select your "SalesArea. Language" folder.
And you could see folder name related to version information, finally select latest folder and select download firmware.  
If you don't know the category of your "Board Name" of  firmware, you should ask technical support section in your company.

The folder naming

The folder naming format is as follows:
Board Name/Sales Area. Language/Version
The abbreviations listed below are used for Sales Area and Language.
In the folder name, the Sales Area is written first, followed by a
" . "
and finally the Language. Multiple sales areas and language are
separated by a
"_".
Sales Area USA:United States, EUR:Europe, EU1,EU2,EU3:A part of Europe,
ASI:Asia, TWN:Taiwan, CHN:China, CIA:Russia,
LAN:Lanier(This is not a Sales Area.)
Language US=American English, GB=British English, F=French
E=Spanish, D=German, I=Italy
NL=Dutch, S=Swedish, N=Norwegian
DK=Denmark, SF=Finish, P=Portuguese
PL=Polish, H=Hungarian, CZ=Czech
RU=Russian, SC=Simlified Chinese, TC=Traditional Chinese
BR=Bragil Portogish, HEB=Hebry

How do I get release information?

Release notes are stored in two places:
1) Saved directly to the board name folder
2) Saved to the version folder (Board
Name/Sales Area. Language/Version).
* These are compressed files that contain both the release note
and firmware itself.

Is there anything I should be careful about when installing firmware?
