Error Messages

This section describes the causes and solutions for the main error messages. If any other message is displayed, take action according to the message. If the message still persists, contact our call center with the error content.

I could not connect to the machine. Activate the printer and connect again. If this does not work then confirm the settings on the screen.

Not connected to the RICOH multifunction printer.

Restore the Smart Operation Panel of the RICOH multifunction printer from the energy saving mode and try again.

If the error occurred when the Smart Operation Panel of the RICOH multifunction printer was not in the energy saving mode, check the network settings, cables and device status, and tap [Check Status]. Tap [Check Status] to carry out the session establishment process. When the reception enabled status of voice commands displayed on the [Check Status] screen becomes “Connected: Voice commands can be received.”, perform the connection test again.

  • Cannot connect to Amazon AWS IoT because of a communication error on the network.

  • Amazon AWS IoT has stopped.

  • Check the network settings, cables and device status and perform the connection test again.

  • Check the Service Health Dashboard for the operation status of AWS IoT.

A certificate error has occurred. Re-enter the authentication information to update the certificate.

E31

  • Failed to download the certificate.

  • An abnormal response was obtained from the server to download the certificate.

Enter the RICOH Smart Integration account information in the displayed dialog box, and then re-acquire the certificate.

Registering information to the server has failed.

E41

Failed to write to the server.

Check the network settings, cables and device status and perform the connection test again.

Writing a certificate has failed.

E51

Failed to write the certificate acquired from the server to the Smart Operation Panel of the RICOH multifunction printer.

Perform the connection test again.

If the same error still persists, contact our call center.

Authentication has failed. Check RICOH Smart Integration login information.

The email address or password registered in RICOH Smart Integration is incorrect.

Re-enter your email address and password, and try again.

I couldn't connect to the machine. Activate the printer and execute the connection test again.

  • The RICOH multifunction printer is set to energy saving.

  • The session was interrupted.
