Setting Up the Smart Speaker
Set up a smart speaker that is compatible with Alexa for Business shared devices using the following procedure.

Smart speakers cannot be connected to the RICOH multifunction printer for use. Prepare a power supply for the smart speaker separate from that for the multifunction printer.
Downloading the Device Setup Tool

Device Setup Tools requires Microsoft Windows 7 or later, the AWS Tools for Windows PowerShell, and the .NET Framework 3.5 or later.
For details about the Device Setup Tool, refer to the following URL.
On the AWS console screen, enter [Alexa for Business] in [Find Services] to open the Alexa for Business service.
Click [Get Started].
Select [Shared devices] at the left of the screen and click [Set up devices].
A download link is displayed for Device Setup Tool.
Click [Download and run Device Setup Tool] and download the specialist tool.
Click [Close] when the download is complete.
Registering the smart speaker in Device Setup Tool
Use the downloaded Device Setup Tool to set up the smart speaker.

Device Setup Tools supports Windows only.
For details about the registration procedure of the smart speaker, refer to the following URL.
Run the downloaded setup.exe and click [Get Started].
Put the smart speaker in setup mode (orange ring is rotating).
For details about how to switch to the setup mode, see the manual of the smart speaker product.
Enter the Access Key and Secret Access Key, and click [Next].
Enter the Access Key and Secret Access Key shown in the csv file downloaded in Creating the user to set Alexa for Business.
A list of serial numbers for the detected smart speaker is displayed.
Select the smart speaker to set up, and click [Continue].
Enter the Wi-Fi settings of the device connected to the smart speaker, and click [Next].
Registration is complete when Status is displayed as "Success".
