Turning On/Off the Power
- When disconnecting the power cord from the wall outlet, make sure to pull the plug, not the cord. Do not pull the power cord forcibly. Doing so can damage the power cord, possibly resulting in fire or electric shock.
When you push the main power switch to turn off the main power, do not disconnect the power cord from the wall outlet until the display on the screen turns off. Doing so may result in damage to the memory, leading to malfunctions.
Do not turn off the power while the machine is in operation.
The main power switch is on the right side of the machine.
Turning on the main power
Make sure the power cord is firmly plugged into the wall outlet.
Open the main power switch cover, and push the main power switch.
Turning off the main power
Open the main power switch cover, and push the main power switch.
This machine automatically enters Energy Saver mode 1 or Energy Saver mode 2 if you do not use it for a while. For details, see Administrator Tools Settings.
