Using a Web Browser to Configure Administrator Authentication
Using a web browser from networked computers, you can log in to the machine and change the administrator settings. (We use Web Image Monitor installed on this machine.) For details about logging in and logging out with administrator authentication, see Administrator Login Method and Administrator Logout Method.
Open a web browser from a networked computer, and then log in to Web Image Monitor as the administrator.
Point to [Device Management], and then click [Configuration].
Click [Administrator Authentication Management] or [Program/Change Administrator] under "Device Settings".
Change the settings as desired.
Log out.
