User GuideIM 350/430 series

Store

You can print stored documents repeatedly and download them as images by using a web browser from a networked computer. (Use Web Image Monitor, which is installed on the machine.)

When the machine is set to store received fax documents on the hard disk, more memory space is used as the number of saved documents increases. After memory space becomes insufficient, no more documents are saved on the hard disk. When this happens, the machine starts printing and then overwriting old documents, or it deletes the received document data without printing it and then prints the Reception File Erased Report. When the memory space becomes insufficient, delete the stored documents.

For details about this function, see Confirming/Printing/Deleting Received and Stored Documents.

When the machine is set to store received fax documents on the hard disk, you can apply a user parameter (switch 40, bit 0) to stop the machine automatically receiving new faxes when available memory space runs too low. See Parameter Settings.

You can use the following e-mail notification functions:

  • Notification of reception (Reception Report e-mail)

You can configure the setting for notification of faxes that are received if you set [Store] to [On].

Specify an e-mail address to send notification e-mails using the Internet Fax and e-mail destinations registered in the Address Book.

You can also apply the encryption and/or electronic signature function to notification e-mails.

  • Notification that memory is low or that the number of saved documents may soon reach the maximum

You can configure settings to send notification e-mails to the administrator's e-mail address if the memory capacity is being reached or the number of received documents that can be stored on the machine's hard disk or in the fax memory is also reached.

To confirm the administrator's e-mail address, use [Administrator's Email Address] under [System Settings]. See "File Transfer", Settings.
