Preparing to Use the Scanner Function

To use the functions explained in Sending Scanned Documents to a Client Computer and Scanning Documents from a Client Computer, this machine and the client computer must be connected to a network. This section explains how to configure the network settings on the machine. A network connection is not required to use the function explained in Storing and Saving the Scanned Documents.
