Setting the Clock

Adjust the clock of the machine to the actual time to perform functions such as weekly timer or to send a fax at a specified time.

Setting the Clock of the Machine (Settings Screen Type: Standard)

1Press [Settings] on the Home screen.

2Press [System Settings].

3Press [Date/Time/Timer][Date/Time].

4Press [Set Time].

5Press the input field for the [Set Time], and then enter the time.

6Press [OK].

7After completing the procedure, press [Home] ().

Note

  • You can configure the machine to synchronize the clock with an SNTP server via the Internet automatically. To specify the SNTP server, use Web Image Monitor.

Setting the Clock of the Machine (Settings Screen Type: Classic)

1Press [Settings] on the Home screen.

2Press [Machine Features Settings].

3Press [System Settings][Timer Settings] tab [Set Time] to display the Set Time screen.

4Enter the time using the numeric keypad, and then press [#].

5Press [OK].

6After completing the procedure, press [Home] (Operation panel screen illustration).

Note

  • You can configure the machine to synchronize the clock with an SNTP server via the Internet automatically. To specify the SNTP server, use Web Image Monitor.
