Solution:

Depending on the cause of the problem, do one of the following:

Coated paper is being used.

In the 06: [Finishing: Finisher] group on the [Adjustment Settings for Operators] menu, set 0662: [Output Fan Level] to [Increase Air Volume].

If coated paper is being used, attach the banner support tray.

For details about attaching the banner support tray, see "Preparation" supplied with the machine.

There is airflow in the room.

Minimize the airflow. For instance, turn the air conditioner off.

Printed sheets are curled.

<If the decurler unit is used>

  1. In the 03: [Machine: Paper Feed/ Output] group on the [Adjustment Settings for Operators] menu, select 0301: [Correct Output Paper Curl: 1 Sided: Face Up], 0302: [Correct Output Paper Curl: 1 Sided: Face Down], or 0303: [Correct Output Paper Curl: 2 Sided], and then adjust the degree of decurling.

    <Single-sided printing: Printed side face down>

    To correct curls facing up, specify "П Curl Correction Level".

    To correct curls facing down, specify "U Curl Correction Level".

    <Single-sided printing: Printed side face up/Duplex printing>

    To correct curls facing up, specify "U Curl Correction Level".

    To correct curls facing down, specify "П Curl Correction Level".

    Select "Large", "Medium" or "Small" depending on the degree of decurling required.

<If the decurler unit is not used>

  1. Load the sheets the other way up.

There are too many stacked sheets.

Reduce the number of the stacked sheets. To do this, suspend printing and remove the stacked sheets, and then resume printing.

To suspend printing, press the [Suspend / Resume] key on the finisher.

To resume printing, press the [Suspend / Resume] key on the finisher.
