Solution:

Clean the upper and lower paper transfer guide plates. For details about cleaning these parts, see the procedure described in Cleaning the Paper Feed Path.

Note

  • Fold a dry cloth into four and use it to wipe, from edge to edge, the area of 5 mm or more from the tip of the film of the paper transfer guide plates.

  • Be careful not to rub the intermediate transfer belt roughly while cleaning.
