Perfect Binding

1Open the document to print.

2Select [Print] from the [File] menu.

3Select the printer you want to use.

4Select [Printer Features] from the pop-up menu.

5Select [Finishing 2] in "Feature Sets:".

6Select [Perfect Binding] from "Perfect/Ring/Twin Loop Binding:".

7Select a binding position from "Perfect Binding Position:".

8Select a source tray from "Binding Paper Source Tray:".

9Select a print position from "Image Position (Along Binding Edge):".

10Select a print position from "Image Position (Across Binding Edge):".

11Select [Finishing 3] in "Feature Sets:".

12To print a Perfect Binding cover sheet, select a print side from"Perfect Binding Cover Sheet Print:".

13If you have set a cover sheet to be printed, adjust the printing position of the cover sheet by selecting an amount to shift the image from the center from "Cover Position (Along Binding Edge):" and "Cover Position (Across Binding Edge):".

14Select a cut type from "Perfect Binding Cutting Options:".

15If you have selected [Cut Fore Edge (Specify Finishing Size)] or [Cut 3 Edges (Specify Finishing Size)] for "Perfect Binding Cutting Options:", select a finishing size from "Perfect Binding Finishing Size:".

16If you have selected [Cut 3 Edges (Specify Finishing Size)] for "Perfect Binding Cutting Options:", select an amount to shift the cutting position along the binding edge from "Finishing Size (Along Binding Edge):".

17Select [Finishing 4] in "Feature Sets:".

18If you have selected [Cut Fore Edge (Specify Margin)] or [Cut 3 Edges (Specify Margins)] for "Perfect Binding Cutting Options:", select how much to cut from "Adjust Cut Position (Head Edge):", "Adjust Cut Position (Tail Edge):", or "Adjust Cut Position (Fore Edge):".

19Print the document using the print function in the default application of the original.
