Menu Protect

You can prevent unauthenticated users from changing the user tools. Menu Protect can be specified for each of the following user tools menus.

List / Test Print Lock

When [On] is set, you can lock the [List / Test Print] items.

Auto Image Density Adjustment & Colour Calibration

You can perform image density adjustment and color calibration for the following resolutions:

600 × 600 dpi (1 bit), 600 × 600 dpi (2 bit), 600 × 600 dpi (4 bit), and 1200 × 1200 dpi (1 bit).

Adjustment and Calibration

Performs automatic image density adjustment and calibration for the selected resolution.

Restore Previous Value

Restores the previous gamma correction value for the selected resolution.

Restore Default Value

Restores the default gamma correction value for the selected resolution.

4 Color Graphic Mode

Default: [Photo Priority]

  • Text Priority

    Use the optimum CMYK toner combination for text printing.

  • Photo Priority

    Use the optimum CMYK toner combination for photo printing.

Color Calibration

You can adjust the gradation of bright (highlighted parts) and medium areas (middle parts) for printing.

  • Adjust Auto Density

    You can print the gradation of auto density.

  • Print Test Pattern 1 for Calibration

    You can print gradation correction sheet 1.

  • Print Test Pattern 2 for Calibration

    You can print gradation correction sheet 2.

  • Reset Setting

    You can reset the gradation correction value to default.

Tray Parameters

If the machine is replaced with another manufacturer's machine, use the previous machine's tray parameters. You can register up to three tray parameters. You cannot specify the same tray parameter for different paper trays.

  • Tray Parameters (PCL)

    You can configure settings to change paper tray parameters used for PCL printing. You can specify the settings for the installed trays and the Auto Tray Select function.

  • Tray Parameters (PS)

    You can configure settings to change paper tray parameters used for PostScript printing. You can specify the settings for the installed trays only.
