This section describes the user tools in the Tray Paper Settings menu under System Settings.
If the specified paper size differs from the actual size of the paper loaded in the paper tray, a misfeed might occur because the correct paper size was not detected.
Paper Tray Priority: Copier (copier)
Specify the tray to supply paper for output.
Default: [Tray 1]
Paper Tray Priority: Fax (facsimile)
Specify the tray to supply paper for output.
Default: [Tray 1]
Paper Tray Priority: Printer (printer)
Specify the tray to supply paper for output.
Default: [Tray 1]
Tray Paper Size: Tray 1
Select the size of the paper loaded in the paper tray.
The paper sizes you can set for tray 1 are as follows:
A4

The paper sizes of A4, A5, A6, 81/2 × 14, 81/2 × 11, and 51/2 × 81/2 are not displayed on the control panel. If you select one of them, you need to adjust the paper size dial of the tray to match the size.
You can specify a custom size of between 148.0 - 356.0 mm (5.83 - 14.00 inch) vertically, and between 82.5 - 216.0 mm (3.25 - 8.50 inch) horizontally.
The paper sizes available for the duplex printing are as follows:

Printer Bypass Paper Size
Specify the size of the paper loaded in the bypass tray when printing data from the computer.
The paper sizes you can set for the bypass tray are as follows:

You can specify a custom size of between 127.0 - 1260.0 mm (5.00 - 49.60 inch) vertically, and between 64.0 - 216.0 mm (2.52 -8.50 inch) horizontally. For duplex printing, you can specify a custom size between 148.0 - 356.0 mm (5.83 - 14.00 inch) vertically, and between 100.0 - 216.0 mm (3.94 -8.50 inch) horizontally.
The paper sizes available for the duplex printing are as follows:
