This section explains the terms "administrator", "supervisor", and "user" as used in this manual.
Administrator
The administrator can specify the settings for operating the printer.
Supervisor
The supervisor can delete an administrator's password and specify a new one.
If the administrator forgets the password or if the administrator changes it, the supervisor can assign a new password. If you have logged in using the supervisor's user name and password, you cannot use normal functions or specify system settings.
User
Users are people using the printer for normal operations, such as printing.
