1After creating a document, open the [Printing Preferences] dialog box in the document's native application.

2Click the [Setup] tab, and then configure the following settings:

  • Locked Print:

    Select [Locked Print], click [Details...], and then enter a User ID and a password. You can also enter a Windows Login Name instead of a User ID. For details, see Storing a Locked Print file to the Printer.

  • Layout:

    Select a combination pattern to set the combine printing function. For details, see Combining Multiple Pages onto a Single Page.

  • Duplex:

    To set the duplex printing function, select [Long Edge (Left/Top)] or [Short Edge (Top/Left)]. For details, see Printing on Both Sides of a Page.

    To set the booklet printing function, select [Booklet]. For details, see Booklet Printing.

  • Ignore Application Collate

    Specify whether or not to use the collate function of the application. For details, see Collate.

Change any other print settings as necessary. For details, see the printer driver's Help.

3Click [OK].

4Start printing from the application's [Print] dialog box.
