This section describes the user tools in the Tray Paper Settings menu under System Settings.
If the specified paper size differs from the actual size of the paper loaded in the paper tray, a misfeed might occur because the correct paper size was not detected.
Paper Tray Priority: Printer
Specify the tray to supply paper for output.
Default: [Tray 1]
Tray Paper Size: Tray 1–4 (Tray 3 and 4 are displayed when the lower paper trays are installed.)
Select the size of the paper loaded in Trays 1–4.
The paper sizes you can set for Trays 1–4 are as follows:

You can specify a custom size of between 90.0–297.0 mm (3.55–11.69 inch) vertically, and between 148.0–431.8 mm (5.83–17.00 inch) horizontally.
For Tray 1, if you specify a custom size of 279.5 mm (11.00 inches) or more vertically, you can specify a custom size of between 148.0–420.0 mm (5.83–16.53 inches) horizontally.

Printer Bypass Paper Size
Specify the size of the paper loaded in the bypass tray when printing data from the computer.
The paper sizes you can set for the bypass tray are as follows:

You can specify a custom size of between 90.0–304.8 mm (3.55–12.00 inch) vertically, and between 148.0–600.0 mm (5.83–23.62 inch) horizontally.
To allow users to specify a horizontal dimension of 600–1260 mm (23.62–49.60 inches) in "Custom Size", other settings must first be specified. For details about specifying custom paper sizes, contact your sales or service representative.

Paper Type: Bypass Tray
Set the display so you can see what type of paper is loaded in the bypass tray.
The paper types you can set for the bypass tray are as follows:

The lock icon is displayed next to the paper tray if [No] is selected in "Apply Auto Paper Select".
