Configuring User Priority Settings

You can specify a user as a priority user if he or she is registered to an IC card or a smart device.

Authentication of a priority user is authenticated faster than that of other users if Quick Card Authentication is enabled.

Up to 100 users can be set as priority users.

1Log in as the user and machine administrator from the control panel.

2Press [User Tools] (Operation panel screen illustration) on the top right of the screen to close the initial settings screen.

If the message “You do not have the privileges to use this function.” appears, press [Exit].

3Press [Home] (Operation panel screen illustration) at the bottom of the screen in the center.

4Press [Operation panel screen illustration].

5Press the [Quick Card Authentication Config.] icon.

6Press [User Priority Settings].

7Specify a user as a priority user, and then press [OK].

The specified user is registered as a priority user.

8Log out.

Note

  • [User Priority Settings] operations can be performed even by users who are not registered to IC cards or smart devices.
