Paper Selection Method
You can specify how the paper tray will be selected by specifying the default value for DeferredMediaSelection in PostScript.

Auto Select
The default value for DeferredMediaSelection is "true". The paper tray that matches the paper setting specified in a print job will be selected.
Select Paper Tray
The default value for DeferredMediaSelection is "false". The paper tray will be selected according to the media selection of PostScript Language Reference.

Select which side of paper to print on when the PS command is used to perform two-sided printing, and the "setpagedevice" command is entered.

Retains two-sided printing, and prints pages after the "setpagedevice" command has been entered on the back side of paper.
Data Format
You can select a data format.

This setting is not effective when operating the machine with a parallel connection.
When operating the machine with a parallel connection, and also if the binary data is sent from the printer driver, the print job is canceled.
When an Ethernet connection is used, the print job is canceled if:
The printer driver data format is TBCP and the data format selected using the control panel is Binary Data.
The printer driver data format is binary and the data format selected using the control panel is TBCP.
Resolution
You can set the print resolution in dots per inch.
Default: [600 dpi (Standard)]
Toner Saving
Reduces toner consumption when printing.
Default: [Off]
When the setting is [On], print quality may be degraded.
Color Setting
You can make an RGB setting.
Default: [Super Fine]
Color Profile
You can set the color profile.
Default: [Auto]
Process Color Model
Specify the color model.
Default: [Color]
Orientation Auto Detect
Specify whether or not to automatically detect the print data orientation.
Default: [On]
Gray Reproduction
You can specify how to print black or gray tones.
Default: [Black/Gray by K (Black)]
Font Change Confirmation
Specify whether or not to display the font change confirmation screen.
