Specifying an IP address (no DHCP)

If you want to use the printer on a network without using DHCP or want to use a static IP address, use the following procedure to assign a specific IPv4 address to the printer. Before making any changes, contact your network administrator to obtain the IP address, subnet mask, and gateway address to be specified on the printer.

1Press [Home] (Operation panel screen illustration) at the bottom of the screen in the center.

2Flick the screen to the left, and then press the [User Tools] icon (Operation panel screen illustration).

3Press [Machine Features].

4Press [System Settings].

5Press [Interface Settings].

6Press [Machine IPv4 Address].

7Press [Change] next to [Machine IPv4 Address].

8Enter the printer's IPv4 address using the number keys, and then press [Sharp].

9Press [Change] next to [Subnet Mask].

10Enter the printer's subnet mask using the number keys, and then press [Sharp].

11Press [OK].

12Press [IPv4 Gateway Address].

13Enter the IPv4 gateway address using the number keys, and then press [Sharp].

14Press [OK].

15Press [Print List] to confirm the settings.

16Press [User Tools] (Operation panel screen illustration) on the top right of the screen.

17Press [Home] (Operation panel screen illustration) at the bottom of the screen in the center.
