You can enable embedded pattern printing to discourage or prevent unauthorized copying.

Log in as the machine administrator from Web Image Monitor.
Point to [Device Management], and then click [Configuration].
Click [Unauthorized Copy Prevention: Printer] under "Device Settings".
Select [On] for "Unauthorized Copy Prevention Setting".
In "Compulsory Unauthorized Copy Prevention", specify whether to select the embedded pattern in the printer driver or on the printer's control panel.
[Driver/Command]
You can specify all embedded pattern settings using the printer driver.
[Driver/Command (Most Settings)]
You can use the printer driver to specify all embedded pattern settings except for the type and density of the embedded pattern.
[Machine Setting(s)]
You cannot specify embedded pattern settings by the printer driver. The embedded pattern specified using the printer's control panel will be printed.
Click [OK].
Log out.
