Machine Set Up Procedure

Select a suitable location for your machine.

For details, see Install Location.

Take the machine out of its box.

• Check the items that come with the machine.

• Remove the protective materials and adhesive tape.

  For details, see Unpacking.

Install the optional unit(s) and board(s) to the machine as necessary.

Load paper in the paper feed tray.

For details, see Loading Paper.

Plug in the power cord, and then turn on the machine.

For details, see Connecting the Power Cord, and Turning On/Off the Power.

Select the language used on the display.

For details, see Changing the Display Language.

Print a test page.

Connect the machine to your network.

Configure the machine's network settings.

Install the printer driver.
