Place the original face down on the original table so that the top of the original feeds in first.
When you cannot place the original in the readable orientation, you may not make copies as you want with particular functions. If this happens, change the orientation by selecting the unreadable orientation.
The relationship between Original Orientation and the actual orientation of originals is as follows:

Select the original orientation.
It is recommended that you use this function together with the Auto Paper Select or Auto Reduce / Enlarge function.
