Silent Mode

Switch to this mode to enhance noise reduction.

In silent mode, scanning and copying/printing is slower than usual.

  1. Press [Home] (Operation panel screen illustration) at the bottom of the screen in the center.

  2. Flick the screen to the left, and then press the [User Tools] (Operation panel screen illustration) icon.

  3. Press [Machine Features].

  4. Press [System Settings].

  5. Check that [General Features] is selected.

  6. Press [Silent Mode].

  7. Press [On].

  8. Press [OK].

  9. Press [Exit].

  10. Press [User Tools] (Operation panel screen illustration) on the top right of the screen.

  11. Press [Home] (Operation panel screen illustration) at the bottom of the screen in the center.
