Description

1

[Hold Data-in]

You can specify whether to set Hold Data-in mode On or Off when the power is turned on or the specified setting is cancelled.

Default: [Off]

2

[List/Test Print]

Allows you to print the system controller's configuration data.

3

[DHCP (Auto-Obtain)]

Specify On or Off for the DHCP settings. If you specify On, the machine obtains its IP address automatically allocated by DHCP. If you specify Off, you must manually specify a static IP address.

Default: [On]

4

[IP Address]

If you specify Off for the DHCP settings, you must specify a static IP address for the machine.

Default: [11.22.33.44]

5

[Subnet Mask]

If you specify Off for the DHCP settings, you must specify a subnet mask for the machine.

Default: [0.0.0.0]

6

[Gateway Address]

If you specify Off for the DHCP settings, you must specify a gateway address for the machine.

(A gateway is a connection or interchange point between two networks.)

Default: [0.0.0.0]

7

[Ethernet Speed]

Allows you to specify a network access speed.

Default: [Auto Select]

8

[I/O Timeout]

Allows you to specify how many seconds the machine waits before it cancels a registered print job.

Note that if job data from other ports often arrives while earlier print jobs are in progress, specifying a longer timeout period will prevent the machine from canceling the earlier jobs.

Default: [15 sec.]

9

[I/O Buffer]

Allows you to specify I/O buffer sizes. Unless otherwise indicated, do not change this setting.

Default: [128 KB]

10

[Restore Defaults]

Allows you to reset changed settings to their factory-set default values.

Note that the following settings do not change:

  • [DHCP (Auto-Obtain)]

  • [IP Address]

  • [Subnet Mask]

  • [Gateway Address]

  • [Ethernet Speed]
