This section explains how to replace the fuser cleaning unit. When you replace the fuser unit, it is necessary to attach the fuser cleaning unit currently being used to the new fuser unit.
Open the front covers.
Pull down the lever.
Pull the drawer out completely until it stops.
Remove the screw.
Push the lock lever to the right.
Pull up the cover.
Remove the fuser unit.
Remove the screw.
Move the plastic-capped lever to the left.
Remove the fuser cleaning unit.
Attach the fuser cleaning unit for the fuser unit by engaging its sides.
When you replace the fuser unit, it is necessary to attach the fuser cleaning unit currently being used to the new fuser unit.
Secure the cleaning unit for the fusing unit with the screw.
Place the fuser unit on the drawer with the triangular markings aligned as shown.
Lower the cover.
Push the lock lever to the left.
Secure the fuser unit with the screw.
Push the drawer slowly into the machine until it stops.
Pull the lever up.
Close the front covers.
Reset the counter for replaceable parts.
