Perfect Binding

1Open the document to print.

2Select [Print] from the [File] menu.

3Select the machine you are using in the [Printer:] pop-up menu.

4Select [Printer Features] from the pop-up menu.

5Select [Finishing] in [Feature Sets:].

6Select [Perfect Binding] from the [Perfect/Ring Binding:] pop-up menu.

7Select a binding position from the [Perfect Binding Position:] pop-up menu.

8Select a print position from the [Image Position (Along Binding Edge):] pop-up menu.

9Select a print position from the [Image Position (Across Binding Edge):] pop-up menu.

10To print a Perfect Binding cover sheet, select a print side from the [Perfect Binding Cover Sheet Print:] pop-up menu.

11If you have set a cover sheet to be printed, adjust the printing position of the cover sheet by selecting an amount to shift the image from the center from the [Cover Position (Along Binding Edge):] and [Cover Position (Across Binding Edge):] pop-up menus.

12Select a cut type from the [Perfect Binding Cutting Options:] pop-up menu.

13If you have selected [Cut Fore Edge (Specify Finishing Size)] or [Cut 3 Edges (Specify Finishing Size)] for [Perfect Binding Cutting Options:], select a finishing size from the [Perfect Binding Finishing Size:] pop-up menu.

14If you have selected [Cut 3 Edges (Specify Finishing Size)] for [Perfect Binding Cutting Options:], select an amount to shift the cutting position along the binding edge from the [Finishing Size (Along Binding Edge):] pop-up menu.

15If you have selected [Cut Fore Edge (Specify Margin)] or [Cut 3 Edges (Specify Margin)] for [Perfect Binding Cutting Options:], select how much to cut from the [Cut Position Adjustment (Head Edge):], [Cut Position Adjustment (Tail Edge):], or [Cut Position Adjustment (Fore Edge):] pop-up menus.

16Print the document using the print function in the default application of the original.
