Copying from the Multi Bypass Tray (Tray A)

Use the multi bypass tray (Tray A) to copy onto transparencies, translucent paper, and paper that cannot be loaded in the paper trays.

If the paper type you want to copy onto is not shown on the [Special Paper] screen, you must specify the paper type under [Tray Paper Settings]. For details about [Tray Paper Settings], see "Tray Paper Settings", Paper Settings.

1Load the paper face up in the multi bypass tray (Tray A).

2Press [Tray A].

3Make sure that [Paper Size] is selected.

4Specify the size of the paper, and then press [OK].

5Press [Special Paper].

6Specify the type of the paper as necessary, and then press [OK].

7Place the originals, and then press the [Start] key.

8When the copy job is finished, press the [Reset] key to clear the settings.
