This machine prints received documents on A4
, 81/2 x 11 or 81/2 x 13 paper regardless of the size of the received document. When A4, 81/2 x 11 or 81/2 x 13 paper is not loaded in any tray, the machine receives documents in memory (Substitute Reception), and prints them as soon as the paper of the above size is loaded in the tray.
The document is split over two sheets of paper depending on its length. See Page Separation and Length Reduction.
Paper placed in the bypass tray is not selected for printing a received document.
The machine receives documents that have a width shorter than A4 or 81/2 x 11 as an A4 or 81/2 x 11 size document.
