Specifying the starting serial number

A serial number is automatically assigned to the file name of a single-page file. You can specify the starting serial number by using the following procedure.

1Press [Send Settings].

2Press [File Name].

3Press [Change] to the right of the entry box.

4Using the number keys, enter a four-digit number you want to use as the starting serial number .

5Press the Sharp key.

6Press [OK] twice.

Note

  • You can specify the starting serial number only if a single-page file type is selected.

  • You can change the number of digits in the serial number. Change the number in [No. of Digits for Single Page Files] under [Send Settings] in [Scanner Features]. You can select 4 or 8.
    9999 or 99999999 cannot be specified for the page number.
