Series Copies

Separately copies the front and back of a 2-sided original or the two facing pages of a bound original onto two sheets.

You cannot use the Spread 1 Sided function from the ADF.
You cannot use the Spread 1 Sided function if the original's orientation is unreadable

The following table shows the paper sizes for Spread 1 Sided when the reproduction ratio is 100%:

Original	Paper for 1-sided copy
A4	A5 × 2 sheets
8¹/₂ × 11	5¹/₂ × 8¹/₂ × 2 sheets

There are two types of Series Copies.

2 Sided 1 Sided

You can make one-sided copies from two-sided originals.

Spread 1 Sided

You can make one-sided copies from two facing pages of a bound original (book).

Press [Orig.].

Press [Original's Size].

Specify the original size, and then press [OK] twice.

Press [Other Func.].

Press [Series].

Select [2 Sided 1 Sided] or [Spread 1 Sided].

To specify whether the orientation of the original is readable or unreadable, press [Orig.'s Orientation].

Press [OK] twice.

Select the paper tray.

Place the originals, and then press the [Start] key.

If you specified [2 Sided 1 Sided], you can specify the orientation. For details, see Specifying the Original and Copy Orientation .
