Even if you place originals in the ADF or on the exposure glass correctly, margins of a few millimeters on all four sides of the original might not be copied.

  1. Leading edge:

    • 4.2 ± 1.5 mm (0.17 ± 0.06 inches) (for paper whose weight is 61 g/m2 or heavier )

    • 5.2 ± 1.5 mm (0.20 ± 0.06 inches) (for paper whose weight is lighter than 61 g/m2)

  2. Trailing edge:

    • 4.2 ± 2.7 mm (0.17 ± 0.11 inches) (for paper whose weight is 61 g/m2 or heavier )

    • 3.2 ± 2.7 mm (0.13 ± 0.11 inches) (for paper whose weight is lighter than 61 g/m2)

  3. Left edge: 2 ± 1.5 mm (0.08 ± 0.06 inches)

  4. Right edge: 2 ± 1.5 mm (0.08 ± 0.06 inches)
