Perfect Binding

1Open the document to print.

2Select [Print] or [Print...] from the [File] menu.

3When using Mac OS X 10.7, select the printer you are using in the [Printer:] pop-up menu.

4Select [Printer Features] from the pop-up menu.

5Select [General 3] in [Feature Sets:].

The item names in [Feature Sets:] differ depending on the version of Mac OS X you are using.

6Select [Perfect Binding] from the [Perfect/Ring Binding:] pop-up menu.

7Select a cut type from the [Perfect Binding Cutting Options:] pop-up menu.

8Select a binding position from the [Perfect Binding Position:] pop-up menu.

9Select a print position from the [Image Position (Along Binding Edge):] pop-up menu.

10Select [General 4] in [Feature Sets:].

The item names in [Feature Sets:] differ depending on the version of Mac OS X you are using.

11Select a print position from the [Image Position (Across Binding Edge):] pop-up menu.

12Select cut positions from the [Cut Position Adjustment (Head Edge):], [Cut Position Adjustment (Tail Edge):], or [Cut Position Adjustment (Fore Edge):] pop-up menus.

13To print a Perfect Binding cover sheet, select [General 5] from [Feature Sets:], and then select a print side from the [Perfect Binding Cover Sheet Print:] pop-up menu.

The item names in [Feature Sets:] differ depending on the version of Mac OS X you are using.

14Print the document using the print function in the document’s native application.
