Error Messages

If an image is not printed correctly, or the transferred image is not printed at all, print the error message and check its details.

There are two kinds of errors: Warning and Error.

Warning

Behavior

  • The RTIFF Menu settings and/or printing option settings are invalid. *1

  • The Print data contains an invalid description of a degree that can be ignored.

Ignores the problem that has caused the error, and proceeds with printing.

*1 A warning error occurs if an invalid printing option name is specified. No warning error message appears even if an invalid value is specified in the “pjl”, “qty”, “imagedirection”, and/or “usercode” printing options.

  • The Print data is too large to process.

  • The Print data contains an invalid description of a degree that cannot be ignored.

Stops receiving the print data, and discards the data that has already been received.

Depending on the cause of the error or the circumstance under which it occurred, the content on the page being rendered may either be printed or discarded.

If the cause for the error cannot be identified, the error content can be checked in detail by printing the error message.
