If bitmap image data is reduced or enlarged for printing by specifying RTIFF Menu settings or printing options, printing may take longer, compared with printing without specifying RTIFF Menu settings or printing options.
Printing an image may take longer if the bitmap image data is rotated. An image can be rotated if the rotation is specified by RTIFF Menu settings or printing options. Depending on the situation, a rotation may occur even though it is not specified.
Printing may not be possible, depending on the format of a TIFF or CALS file.
The bitmap image data in TIFF format does not include data or structures specifying an EOF (end of file) or an EOD (end of data). Therefore, RTIFF identifies an EOD as a point where bitmap data for the width and height given by the tag information is received. When an EOD is received as a print instruction, a print job will start.
There are print restrictions for the width and size of a printable bitmap image.
Do not perform any of the following operations while a print job is being processed or print data is being received.
Configuration of RTIFF Menu
Configuration of system conditions
Test Print operation
