You can use RP-GL/2 to print from a CAD application, and use the machine as a laser plotter.
RP-GL/2 complies with the following plotter control instruction sets developed by Hewlett-Packard (HP): pen plotter control instruction set HP-GL (Hewlett-Packard's Graphics Language), raster plotter control instruction set HP-GL/2 (Hewlett-Packard's Graphics Language Standard), and HP RTL (HP's Raster Transfer Language). You can print from any CAD application that supports HP-GL, HP-GL/2, or HP RTL files.
You can also print in Windows or DOS/UNIX environments.
